Bluegill perch

I made the square bill from balsa. Nothing special but did get to try the circuit board and love everything about it so far. Not much fishing time yet.

I have been playing with swimbaits now for a bit and wanted a little bluegill thing. I was worried it wouldn't swim good but I tried it out today and it swims like a dream. It looks like a scared bluegill swimming away. I played around for a bit and had a few little smallmouth following it in every cast. I'm very impressed with how it turned out!

My favorite go to  on the Cal-Delta is a blue gill pattern...love to be throwing this one!!! Nice job..love the color transitions especially around the gill plate & eyes
