Louviere83
Do you guys know if there is some kind of device that can twist this wire up after its through the eye of the jig head. I've attached a picture of what I'm trying to do. I'm wanting to do this without using a split ring.
fshng2
Check LPO (Lure Parts Online) Or you can clamp a drill bit in a vise (smooth side up). Then grab end of wire with vise grip and form a loop around the drill bit. Lastly make two wraps and your done. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=you+tube+tail+wrap+a+lure&view=detail&mid=812281143F5983B6E3F4812281143F5983B6E3F4&FORM=VIRE

I didn't see that in do-its catalog, what molds do you use? I believe it's Do-its Ultra spinner bait head. I make the short-arm wire forms myself w/ a Worth wire bender and .040 stainless wire. Here's another version w/ a custom spinner bait head from Chris Archer of Ultra-Molds.The spinner bait head is not painted and also features a custom ,extended wire keep for the soft-bait

JBlaze
A Hagens wire former will do this and many other things such as making your own wire forms for spinnerbaits,, buzzbaits, in lines and others.
