mark poulson 2,566 Posted March 7, 2012 Report Share I get a gold cast by spraying a very light mist coat of Folk Art Metallic Inca Gold over my light green crappie paint schemes. It should work for your carp, too, and won't overpower those great scales. Do a test before you try it on that bait...it's too nice to mess up! Quote Link to comment
Sonny.Barile 24 Posted March 8, 2012 Report Share How did you get those scales? Is that individually laid foil pieces? Quote Link to comment
mark twain 19 Posted March 8, 2012 Report Share yes, I cuted from an authoadesive aluminium foli with a saddler punch with round hole and then cuted in half and then sticked individually on the body ; I did one only with round aluminium circle and sticked one after one on the body, but the look is better with half circles Quote Link to comment
