mark poulson 2,562 Posted April 19, 2012 Report Share That is beautiful!!!! Are those feathers at the edges? How are they affixed? Quote Link to comment
koop 11 Posted April 20, 2012 Report Share They're goose biots (I think - old fly tying material I had - think they come off the leading edge of a goose quill) - usually used for nymph tails and legs. I glue them in a small groove using epoxy or superglue. Quote Link to comment
mark poulson 2,562 Posted April 20, 2012 Report Share You did a great job! Very original bait. I've never seen water beetles like that here in SoCal, but I'm sure that bait will be eaten in waters that have them. Quote Link to comment
Fishwhittler 39 Posted April 20, 2012 Report Share That's a very, very cool lure. The feathers around the edge really set it off. Quote Link to comment
