I have high hopes for this design. In the sink it sinks just like a solid model. As soon as the water starts to run in over the tail, it instantly fills and starts to sink slowly. Can't wait to see how it will act in the lake tomorrow. Will let you know. Musky Glenn

Hats off to you. You really came up with a creative way to remove the weight.

I just hope it holds up to those big toothy critters. I've never seen a musky in person, but I've caught of barricuda, and they look very similar, both in shape and in toothage.

What kind of glue do you use for your PVC?

Also a very interesting concept , ....by your pics I'm now able to fully comprehend about it's construction , ....just a great design .

You did not talk about any added ballast in here , but I assume , that you must have put some into the center part holding the cotterpins .

Wishing you the best of luck with your oncoming trials and looking forward to hear about results , .......greetz , Dieter

Mark, I used pvc glue like would be used on water lines. Thanks for your idea on this lure, I am having a problem with it only walking one way and not the other. but will get that worked out.

Diemai, I did cut up lead and glue into the bottom ends of the lure. Do you think adding the weight to the center would help the lure walk right and left. The cotter pins were bent over after it was all glued together. Musky Glenn
