ravenlures 317 Posted October 1, 2012 Report Share I also use a lure holder like yours plus a slot on the other end side to hang on a wire, they work great. Nice lure.Looks a little pudgy. Quote Link to comment
littleriver 81 Posted October 1, 2012 Report Share Thank you Ravenlures, The lure holder is makes painting a breeze. A slot is very good idea when dipping . Thank you for sharing it. I will be deploying it soon........ Yep a few are a bit fat. Rounding baits consistently by hand with a carving knife and sight is an acquired talent and i am still acquiring it.....This could take a while......... Quote Link to comment
JBlaze 103 Posted October 2, 2012 Report Share Not putting your lures down, you know I like them. But my first thought when I saw these was that they look like a bunch of happy snakes poking their head out of the den and smiling at you. How weird is that? Who ever heard of a happy snake? I think I need a week of R&R. John Quote Link to comment
littleriver 81 Posted October 2, 2012 Report Share LOL , No offense taken. Patrick called my affection for snake heads some time ago while making the A rig. These appear snaky to me also. Wait to you see my latest version of a long A wake. Very snaky.......:-) Calling it cobra wake..... Quote Link to comment

JBlaze 103 Posted October 4, 2012 Report Share Guys, I got to see Vic,s Waddle Bat in person yesterday. Matter of fact I am now the proud owner of one and a few others. Thanks Vic. The hunting action is awesome, much more impressive than in the video. He has this action nailed. Its not just a couple or three inches tracking off to either side, but a very serious almost violent veering off course to both sides. It really looks like a fleeing minnow trying to get away from a predator. The finish on his baits are now near perfect. I can't wait to take this one to the lake. By the way, where was the Cobra hiding? Was I close enough to get bit by it? John Quote Link to comment
