That's some fine craftsmanship.The carving, the way everything fits together, the alignment,etc. is top notch. Great work.

 

Simbaits just don't look right to me without the carved details and my carving skills being what they are is the reason you don't see any swimbaits I've built in the gallery.

You could do the carving if you practiced awhile Ben. My first few looked like I did the carving with a rock but as time goes along you get a little better. The hardest part for me is always the mouth. Thank you.

Good looking bait!  Once you get the action down, you can always use some modeling clay to help with details (and fix it when you hack too much.)
