bluewaterspecial 6 Posted December 9, 2013 Report Share hey Vic, these look really nice. Quote Link to comment
littleriver 81 Posted December 9, 2013 Report Share Thank you Ryan! Perhaps too folky for some people but i like. Really easy to produce. The bottom paint is just a thinned out wash of the darker color on top. Quote Link to comment
scrubs 33 Posted December 9, 2013 Report Share More goodies from your bench Vic. All three are winners. bill Quote Link to comment
bluewaterspecial 6 Posted December 10, 2013 Report Share Vic, What's that action like on these? Do you have any weights or rattles in these? Quote Link to comment
littleriver 81 Posted December 10, 2013 Report Share bill Thank you! Funny you should mention my bench. These have actually been there for nearly a year waiting on me to finish. Finally got the job done. Ryan Nothing special inside these . I carved these shapes and bills for waddle bats. While testing I liked the action of the bait without the bat tail. These baits are the result. They are shallow running with a wide X action. Very stable baits with tons of action but at the same time very smooth. Quote Link to comment
RayburnGuy 1,383 Posted December 10, 2013 Report Share lol.........glad to find out I'm not the only one that has a "backlog" of stuff laying around waiting to be painted. Quote Link to comment
littleriver 81 Posted December 10, 2013 Report Share @ Ben I love to carve but painting is a different story. Wish I had taken an art class along the way. Sounds like your in a similar boat. Quote Link to comment

littleriver 81 Posted December 11, 2013 Report Share Thank you Dieter! I think the style is the result of no training. I didn't know any better...:-) Quote Link to comment
BobP 1,380 Posted December 15, 2013 Report Share Like I've said before, it's refreshing to see a style of painting that's wholly different and distinctive - and looks good to boot! Nice baits! Quote Link to comment
littleriver 81 Posted December 15, 2013 Report Share Thank you Bob! You make some really great baits too! Infact, I trolled this summer one of the baits you traded me. The flat side with dark green back and chartreuse sides. It caught just about everything that swims here in the span of four hours. I have painted several baits with this pattern since. :-) Thank You!!! Quote Link to comment
