The stories of what this plane was able to do and then the cool paint scheme... I just felt it had to be represented as a topwater lure.
BTW, when I tested it for the first time, I saw a pretty sizable large-mouth looking up from about a foot of water at it with mouth open, but I could tell he saw me and was spooked and swam off.
