Here is the latest of my unpainted lures. A 4" maple and walnut stripe with a padauk blood gill carved in. Added a more detailed gill and mouth carving made it stand out a bit better. Note the difference in the head section which is a normal grain orientation and the stripes which have an end grain orientation.
