CNC 20 pound poly

Latest experiment is using a medium density polyurethane foam as a wood replacement. This is a rigid and dense 20 pound per cubic foot foam. Like working with pine.

  • This material machines and sands like a dream.
  • Consistent density.
  • Waterproof and will not absorb water.
  • Down side might be cost, more than wood.

As soon as there is some liquid state water in my area I'll provide more feed back. Any others have any experience with rigid polyurethane foam?
