Very unusual lure design and absolutely great carving and painting work , ........some years ago I've heard of a big silure(European catfish)picking a small dog off the surface whilst the owner was throwing sticks in the water .

@Diemai, thank you for the compliments! Also for sharing your story. I reside in Florida and you hear about dogs being taken by Alligators all the time. Be pretty neat to see a pike/musky take a Chihauhua off the surface. : )

@kayjay920..thank you, jigging sticks are used in ice spearing... Used to jig a fish decoy to lure in predator fish such as pike/musky. Thanks again
