You don’t have to buy any special paint for the tail unless u want to, take a look at mine in BEST HARD BAITS Mr. brookie won 2nd place, just spray paint the tail with white primer and it will be tacky but that ok let it sit overnight and then spay minwax clear on top of that sets up rock hard then use your regular paints and then e-tex for finish. if u need any help just yell.

Looks great! Where did that lure blank come from?

I got it off of Ebay. But unfortunately, it didn't come with fins. I was able to find fins from somebody else who sold the baits.
