Between my love of trout, my Koifish tattoo and tendency to name things after butterflies; this was born.

This pattern I dubbed "Monarch" and was one of the first 3 patterns I ever came up with and am still painting to this day due to it's popularity with people and it's fish catching abilities.

I start the pattern off with Koi fish markings, then must have decided adding perch stripes was a good idea, and piled on some trout spots after that. I like to use it when I can't decided what to use because it's 3 things in one LOL
