I found some blanks that look similar to a #7 shad rap. After playing around with some new paint I tried to emulate one of the colors of shadow rap. Like all the videos say, "be careful putting on the scale patter because you don't want to hit the bait with an alligator clip." Well I hit the lower jaw with an alligator clip. It'll still fish.
