Is the black paint? Or how did you achieve the black on the bait? The olive head really makes the bait look good. Very nice color scheme.

I'm not sure it needs ANYTHING Jim. Those look great! Please forgive me as I know NOTHING about making those, but perhaps a little white or pearl? Although that would probably add tons of time to a job which looks like it takes a bunch already.

That is plastic Swamp, no paint for me! I did actually paint one with a sponge and it may be better than these but I am not going to use paint if possible. All hand poured plastic only!!! Even kill spots will be plastic...

Trade secret on how it is done :-)!

Wish you could see real close but there are no cracks or lines in the baits at all.

I'd love to try magnum versions of those for muskies.

I think these will be killer with the pearl belly. they look good now, but with the white belly i think it'll look just a little better.
