"Pushing the envelope"

Patterned after a Moonlight "Trout Eat-Us", this lure pushes the envelope, or should I say "my ability" in more ways than one. First of all, did you ever try to turn a 1-1/4" lure on a 36 inch lathe ? Then it took me a few tries with my rattle cans to get scales, green eye liner, black nose and stripe, and some red chin blush on this little sucker. And then when I got it finished I had to try to get a half decent pic with my 2 mega pixel Olympus . I'd still like to make a few more of these though .
