Jon's Salmon Slammer uses a spent .223 AR-15 bullet casing with eyes for the lure body. The Salmon Slammer mimicks two of a salmons favorite foods: candlefish and squid. This lure design has caught hundreds of both King (Chinook) and Siver (Coho) salmon

Braided Line

Looks like the little brother to the Rizzo Trophy Tail by South bend.     Main body(yours) looks like an old cartridge case.  I`m guessing here.   Thinking out side the box.
