fshng2 129 Posted April 13, 2017 Report Share Very clean work & paint. Is it difficult to keep epoxy free of line tie and hook eyes? Ever fished a rebel crawdad? They have a nice side to side vibration that work extremely well on small-mouth. How does this one fish? Quote Link to comment

The epoxy is brushed on and they are turned on a wheel, but sometimes it will creep and plug a hole in a hook eye. I slide a piece of wire through them before the epoxy sets up to remove the majority of it. Once it's hardened I will run a small drill bit through to remove any remaining. And yes, I have quite a few of the Rebel Craws in several tackle boxes around here. They work well but I haven't used any but my own in a few years. My squarebills run in a tight chatter nose down. They have a seeking side to side action and do little random zig zags on the pause and go retrieve. Bass like them a lot. Quote Link to comment

When I first saw this I was thinking that It would hunt at least as good as the Rebel Crawfish. I like it .. great job! Quote Link to comment
