Nice bigE, is this patterned after the Whopper Stopper?

How does it swim?

It tracks well but has a bit of a ball roll. I have made adjustments in the tail part that has made a big improvement. With a little more tweaking I thing I have something special. Thanks !!!!

That pattern is a winner. Very cool looking bait.

Have you thought about adding a small keel fin behind the belly hook for stability?

A piece of circuit board of plexiglass super glued into a hack sawed slot would be a quick experiment.

Again great lure, would love to see a video of it in action.

Thanks that's a great ideal. I think one of the problems is I made the body shorter that the factory made ones. So I think I will also try and make them a little longer. But now I will try the fin. Thanks !

Had another idea to help with tweaking to find minimum body length.

What if you put some spacers (beads, washers, something) in between the body and the tail to compensate for the missing material in body length. The tail would be further back and may correct for the body roll.

That  also is a great ideal ! Thanks I will keep experimenting.  Other than missing a front hook up sometimes is what I'm afraid of but the rear hook should be where most of the target area is. Other than that I'm am very pleased in how it performs.  Thanks again !

Bigelures any updates on progress with your modified whopper stopper type lure?

Yes I got it figured out. I ended up moving the weights and not putting a wire all the way thru.
