Hey what CAD program is that - doesnt look like pro e or solidworks.

Fusion 360 from autocad

seems like it has good surfacing capabilities.

It’s capabilities far outstrip my own... I’ve barely know what I’m doing.. I spend a lot of time on YouTube watching the tutorials and seeing if the techniques can be applied to my lure obsession ..

 

What happens after you design it? 3D print?

Print it out and then shoot some paint..

 

Beautiful. How on earth did you figure out the right dimensions?

Made a virtual model of the bait in fusion 360... then created the template around it

So true - Surfacing is a whole other animal compared to solid modeling - Slowly, I am getting there.
