mark poulson 2,562 Posted February 28, 2019 Report Share Four 2.5 cranks with moving ballast, trying to get them to hunt. The top two had 3/4" lips, and just giggled on the retrieve. The bottom two had 7/8" lips, and they hunt, thanks to Vodkaman Dave. The are all made from 1" thick Azek PVC trim board that I sanded down to 7/8" for the blanks. The dots are where I cross bored 1/4" hole, and inserted either 3/8" or 1/2" lengths of 3/16" lead wire for moveable ballast. The 3/8" move more, and seemed to help the lures giggle more, but the longer lip made the hunt. Quote Link to comment
