Thanks.  If I were to make another I would add a short little lip under the head for a bit more resistance.   It wiggles and wobbles now, but not as much as I would like.    I've seen something similar to this in an antique store, with a hefty price on it.   I think it was an old Heddon Lure. 

 

 

Very cool!  I'd like to try and make some reproductions of some of those antique lures.  There's some really interesting stuff out there.  This design certainly seems to have some good potential.
