I used a special foam, but it is still carved and sanded out of a foam plate in the same way I work with wood, so it is not poured. I tried this foam with several lures now and I must say it has many advantages. You don't need to seal the whole lure while testing it's action in an early building stage...it will never soak water or will rot...
