My buddy, Aaron, stopped a while back and asked if I thought I could make a copy of an AC Shiner.

I made mine from cedar and through-wired it because the AC Shiner has been known to be effective for muskies in the spring on some of the waters we fish. I didn't care for the colors on the one he presented me to use as a model so I just painted it a different way.

It measures just over 3 1/2 inches long.

Super job. Really nice color pattern, perfect musky snack. Sometimes you hate to paint over the nice wood grain. I've been thinking about how to incorporate the wood grain into a future paint job after seeing a few posted here and on Musky First.
