The Lunker 'Munk

I got this idea after another member showed me some videos of a largemouth slamming a chipmunk. I haven't had a chance to use it yet as I'm in Ohio and it just snowed about 8" in the past 2 days. This prototype is made out of basswood and is about 7"-8" long. It's hand painted and for effect, I added a real squirrel tail cut in half. I filled up the tub the other night and threw it on a small rod just to check it out. It has great erratic movement, all while staying afloat and not flipping over. So I was pretty happy with the initial test run. This isn't by any means a final "draft" though. I plan on using a more detailed paint job on the next one and I'll do any tweaking necessary after testing it on the water. So what do you guys think? Is it something worth pursuing on the water? Appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
