"Putty Spoons"

Some months ago I've renovated my kitchen , had some problems with fixing cupboard hangers into the wall , one hole for them got too large due to a softer spot in the wall , so a salesman at a toolshop adviced me to use plumbers putty to reinforce the hole and fit in the wall-hook .
Well , it worked out nice , and I won't be myself , if I had not thought about how I could use the remainder of that putty for fishing purposes;) .
So here are the results of it :
I worked the putty around a double-looped piece of wire , that I previously rigged onto an olive sinker and swaged that one to a flat , curved shape .
Once mixed , the putty has a processing time of only a few minutes , so not much time for very neat and extraordinary symetrical shaping , but after curing it can easily be worked over with a "Dremel" and by filing , most likely the eyelets have to be cut free from the putty , also some fine-shaping of the body curves would be neccessary .
The larger finished lure turned out a little too heavy , it does not flutter at very slow retrieve speed , therefore I would use it only in current waters , its action should be OK for that .
The smaller one(little less than 2" long) works perfectly for calm water .
After I had finished those first two lures , I still had some putty left , so I had the idea about why not making the entire putty heavier , so no need for an embedded weight , thus the lure could be made a little thinner for better action;) .
So I put a chunk of lead in a vise and filed off lead chips with a large coarse file , gathered these on a piece of paper , laid underneath the vise .
To shape the lures this way is still a little more finacky , since half of the rare processing time of the putty goes for working the lead chips evenly into it .
I had to learn this , when first making the smaller one of the two unpainted blanks , it looks rather "chunky" , too heavy for its size , I'm sure , that it won't work properly 
.
With the second one unpainted I was aware , so I guess this one is going to have a nice wiggle , for I made it a lot thinner , with more pronounced body curves .
So well , after those the putty remainder was through , but meanwhile there is a new pack , somewhere in my workshop................
