I usually paint my side-lines a little darker, but you're not wrong to paint them that light either; The Bagley baits varied all over the place, from the darkness of the lines, to how far down the side the brown scaling went, not only on the old DC-9, but also other colors which used the "craw" lines on the sides. I seldom paint a bunch of lures without painting that one--one of my favorites to this day. Dean Quote Link to comment
6_feet_deep 10 Posted May 6, 2008 Report Share Isn't it funny...there is a guy around here that has a bunch old Bagley's of almost every kind from the 70's and 80's. I was looking at them the other day and the amount of differences in not only the paint, but also the body shape and lips is crazy!
