Bass & Pike In-Lines

I've been looking to start transitioning from tying bucktails to silicon. This is the latest efforts in that direction. I'm looking forward to testing these in Wisconsin later this month. I'll post some pictures if they catch anything.

Spike, these are very nice. But i don't think you should ever get completely away from bucktail, especially for pike and muskie. There are days when nothing else will work. JIM

Jim,

The bucktails I used to tie had a feather or two coming out of the center, a layer or two of bucktail, finished by a hackle wrapped at the base of the thread... I have lost the eye sight to tie with any level of detail or precision any more. I am thinking I may have to soon get a lit magnifying lens just to get the spinner components threaded on the wire before long. 'm still addicted to catchin' em on MY lures. I still have over 30 years of bucktails I can draw from to keep fishing with them. Worse case, I could buy them from some place.

During the last week of May, 08 these caught what they were built for - BASS & PIKE. Even caught a pike over a tree limb... The silicon skirts and curly tails just killed the pike and even got a few small mouths.
