HERE IS 2 FOILED GLIDER/JERKBAITS I FINISHED & SWIMTESTED THIS MORNING.. 4" LENGTH AT 3.5oz, VMC PERMA-STEEL 4/0 HOOKS.. SINK RATE IS SLOW FOR THE WEIGHT AT ABOUT 6" PER SECOND WITH SUPERB ACTION.. USING THE "TWITCH/CRANK, TWITCH/CRANK" METHOD, THEY RIDE SHALLOW & DART SIDE TO SIDE LIKE A FORAGING BAITFISH, WILL TURN AROUND NOSE TO TAIL TOO.. PERCH & BASS ARE TRANPARENT PEARLS OVER FOIL, HIGHLY REFLECTIVE IN THE WATER..

Very nice paint and foil job , well done finish , they're gonna score for sure !

I am always interested in such smaller jerkbaits for lighter piking , so I wonder , wether you have found any noticeable difference in swimming action concerning the two tow eye positions horizontal and vertical ?

Definitely a difference, thru experimenting with the 2 positions.. I like the horz. better.. When you're twitching/jerking, the lure moves upwards more toward surface which I like alot & it seems to be more reaction sensitive to the rod tip twitches on the side to side action as well..

Ive made alot of thru-wired lures for Musky & Stripers & the line loop is horizontal for a reason on those lures(pikies & swimmers).. You tune the lure by bending the loop up/down.. A downward bend makes the lure rise, & upward bend makes it go deeper.. I wanted the gliders to work shallower even with the added weight & the horizontal tie does the trick.. So now they go deep if you want but will run close to surface too..
