Bluegill photos for samples / foiling

These were taken earlier this year and I wanted to share the real thing as examples of how drastically different bluegill / sunfish can vary even when coming out of the same pond.

So enjoy the color examples and if you think you goofed up your paint job, well I doubt it, as the colors are all over the place.

Check out the lateral line on the darker fish! It was a real interesting fish.

Hi Gator

Looking real close at these "Brim" ... as in many places you have the "Pure Stock" and the "Odds & Ends" The lighter one shaped more like a "Shellcracker" (but it is not) ... Many different "strains" of Sunfish. Some "Strains" are found only in one system ... and then you have the identical fish but comes out of different colored water or bottom and they will be a different color ... But so saying the color You paint a bait is the way You see them in general.

Good Pics :yay:

Thanxs
