diemai 234 Posted September 21, 2008 Report Share Hallo , Paul I like this idea of a lipped bait with a grub's tail attached ! Just like you I am not too fond of such a style of bait , but your designs makes me curious ! Does it float up or sink at rest and how deep does it run/dive ? I assume , that it has a "snakelike" swimming action , true ? Nice job done in your distinctive paintstyle ! Greetz , Dieter Quote Link to comment
Boskabouter 10 Posted September 21, 2008 Report Share Hi Dieter,Thanks for the kind words. I took this twistertail to the water this afternoon and it showed me a nice little secret. This bait is so cool to fish with. It can be jerked and spinned great.I found out this bait is also awesome to fish like a diver type jerk, like the suicks etc. That is when this bait truly comes alive.Cast it and then pull a few times then let it rest and the bait wobbles towards the surface (yes it floats while at rest) the pull again, let it rest etc. Fun fishing and refreshing technique. Two pikes couldn't resist... Grtz Paul Quote Link to comment
