Through TU I was inspired to make my first deep diving cranks with Lexan lip , thru-wire harness and toweye passing through the lip .
Before I have made such lures with metal lips screwed and glued into their bodies .
Off course now , with what I saw and learned here on this site , I find myself to have much more options in terms of designing my homemades in different ways .

Shown here are own designs , little similar to a "Rapala DT"(guess , that's the model name) .
Made of Abachewood , approx . 4" without lip , roofing lead sheet was glued in just by estimation , together with the thru-wire form .
These cranks turned out well , bath tub testing prior to painting led to my total satisfaction about their action:yes:

Assembled hooks right this morning , but they're gonna hit the waters soon 
!
Painted with rattle cans and modelmaking enamel .
