Jelutong 3-piece crankbait

Color scheme is nice but I don`t get the "3 piece " part. Unless that`s what it`s called.

Three pieces of wood to form crankbait.(left side, right side and center)

I have read somewhere before of crankbaits similar like this : A hardwood core for strength and lightwood flanks for sufficient buoyancy ! I guess , that it was named "sandwich" construction ?

Anyway , it turned out a nice , little crankbait , I like it !

I am trying to develop a very accurate, consistent process. Strength is not an issue at this point with thru-wire construction. Thanks for the name. This lure will be titled the Jelutong Sandwich from now on. I like it, kind of a mysterious, dietary ring to the name.

I forgot to mention the beaded eyes glow in the dark. I wonder how that could be worked into the name. maybe the "Jelutong Nightprowler Sandwich".

Sounds edible , LOL !
