Kind of a Perch

Not sure what inspired this body shape but it sure swims nice.

The bait itself is 6.75" long

Shallow runner, nice wobble.

Just learning to airbrush so if some paint jobs look familiar I've been studying others work here.

I'm in Minnesota and the sad thing is most of what I built this year won't hit the water until next year. The ice is already moving in.

Thanks Mark. I'd be honored if made one, I love the baits you build. The lure is thru-wired and made from red cedar and is 6.5" not including the tail. As far as weight goes, when I water tested it she balanced out and sat perfect in the water with no weight which normally doesn't happen to me. I put about a half ounce just behind the front hook, mostly just for added weight. The action is a medium wobble and runs 3.5 - 4 ft deep. Originally I planned to have a rubber tail on the back end which is why you see the ribs towards the tail. I wanted a integrated look instead of it looking like two different pieces. In the end I opted for the bucktail. If you need better pics let me know.
