This one's about 6.5", made from cedar, thru-wire.

Noisy little bait. I contemplated not adding eyes, but it seemed like it needed something up front. Some nice deep orange eyes would have been better.

I like it just the way you did it. Quality construction too.

On my waters, a top-water musky strike is all to rare, but it does happen under certain conditions and I wish I could get more of it. There's something about a top-water getting smashed.

My fishing partner and I both had top-water baits get struck within a span of about 5 minutes. He landed his, I lost mine, but mine launched straight into the air after I set the hook. I will never forget the cast, the strike, the hook set, and that 40ish musky clearing the water by about 3 feet.

Beautiful work, nice bait. I hope you score with it and post some pictures...or better yet, some video:yay:
