Jigging Spoons

Nice jigs. Hook size? and do you add a split ring for line tie?

Are these lead spoons from top to bottom or are you using a spinner blade, drilling a hole through it, inserting the hook, and then casting lead around it? Never seen this done or thought about it but imagine it would work quite well.
