bassinjody 1 Posted November 25, 2008 Report Share hazmail love the gliders, great paint, and shape, one quick question what kind of line ties and hook hangers are u using, very cool. Quote Link to comment
hazmail 203 Posted November 25, 2008 Report Share Jody - Thanks for the compliments, the "hook hanger" is a one piece brass plate which has the 3 hangers built in, for this shape 2" lure. When I was producing lures commercially about 20 years back (at great expense back then), I had a 'Die' made and then had these hangers stamped out (about 3000), and still have quite a few, which I usually use when I make any 2" lure - these save heaps of time, not having to make up wire hangers. They also add good weight (brass), and you just cut a slot and glue them in. pete Quote Link to comment
diemai 234 Posted November 26, 2008 Report Share Truly an unique outer shape for a jerkbait , love it , too ! Greetz , diemai Quote Link to comment
hazmail 203 Posted November 27, 2008 Report Share diemai- we will see what happens, they work in the bath tub!!! To weight them neutral + or slow sinking, I add a 1/4" brass spinner blade to the rear treble, which also gets a little flutter when jerked - but the proof is in the bottom of the lake, where Mr Trout lurks, and has to be tricked??pete Quote Link to comment
