Hey jody, nice lure but how does it run? I'm really curious because I built a deep bodied, flat sided crank with a coffin style lip last year which except for the colour looks almost identical to yours. I have modified & re-modified my lure five times changing the weight, center of gravity, lip length, line tie position,etc. but mine always starts spinning then blows out of the water even at low speed. Hope yours runs better!

hay pikester my baits are 2.5 inches long i have a 1/8 oz ballest weight in it not avery good floater but runs very tight action. i have had a few do what your talking about.
