"Girls all dolled up"

Finally finished my gills, then I took them out swimming in the big water for the first time. The small gill got hit two times & then had a fish on for a breif time, felt good. My large gill got hung up in some rip-rap, but I got it back w/ some running up & down the rocks.. Then on the next cast I seemed to have found the only submerged tree w/ a single branch, one foot under the surface. After many attempts, there she sits all alone. On the low tide I can see her shinny pearlescent colors just shining @ me. Looks like I'll be calling my scuba buddy. Good learning experience. Thank you to all that helped me along the way to success.

Those are some beautiful lures. I hope you get the little girl back.

My buddy hung one of my first glider lures on a buoy rope while we were shore fishing from the dam face at Castaic, and had to break it off. A week later, when I had my boat on the lake, the lifeguard let us go in and get it back. Hope it works that way for you.

P.S. I think you need bigger hooks.
