Buzzbaits Super Slow (Pivot Point Buzzbait)

This is my Pivot Point Buzzbait. These buzzers can be retrieved extremely slow due to the wide planer head. I use a deep cup colorado blade or willow leaf for the planer head it is filled with alumilite. The frame is .051 sst bent on a Hagens wire former. You cant see it in the pic but the hook is a 5/0 VMC black nickel with weight molded around the hook shank it pivots and swings freely behind the planer head and positions the hook point a little lower in the water which I think allows for better hook ups.

I don't know much about buzzbaits , we hardly use them over here , but this sounds like a very smart and well thought-of idea:yes: !

A weighted pivoting hook hanging little downward for better hook-ups.........and especially the way you made the bodies !

I suppose , "Alumilite" is a kind of liquid steel , I know such stuff , it is quite heavy :?.

A real innovation to possibly improve your fishing !

Thanks Diemai. Actually, I think Aluminite is a plastic or resin product, it is a little heavier than water and it sticks to just about anything and really locks the blade tight to the wire frame so it doesn't move.
