diemai 234 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share What do you mean by "rolling" on the drop ? Dose it spin around its length axis or it shakes the belly left and right or even only flips over to descend back down:? ? And does the unusual position of the rear hook hanger has to do with that action ? Lot of questions for a tiny lure , lol:) ! Concerning your pictures not becoming too clear , check , whether your camera has a "close range detail" option ! Mine , though quite a cheapie , has such , it takes well focussed pics that way(most likely:huh:) at a range of 10 to 30 cm(4" to 12") , but demanding a calm hand or even a tripod mount . greetz , diemai Quote Link to comment
mark twain 19 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share Hi diemai, indeed lot of question for a tiny lure like this ; this lure descend by moving from left to right; the rear hook main role is to assure a longer cast as is changing the weight centre of the lure and allow to add aditional weiht on the back; also is assuring the hooks are not touching each other ; also create instability and helps with the rolling when retrieve the lure and also on descending; being a tiny lure I need to assure a longer cast to the lure and especially is designed for chub ( a fish with 100 eyes ); basically if the fish is not taking the lure on descending will take when retrive the lure as is having a high frecvency ! diemai 234 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share I find this to be a very smart idea about the different position of the rear hook hanger , very well thought of:yes: ! I guess , that such a feature won't have the desired balance effect on larger baits , but on such tiny lures it obviously does work:yes: ! greetz:yay: , diemai Quote Link to comment
mark twain 19 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share have other models where I put the rear hooks in strange positions depending the effect want to reach ; have one exactly in the middle of the back of the lure Quote Link to comment

diemai 234 Posted February 11, 2009 Report Share Sorry , if with my questions I should have refreshed a previous argument between our Romanian members , this was not my intention , not at all:nuhuh: ! There was a similar thing going on in the forums recently about one "Twisted Dick Jerk"() , an argument about who first came out with that lure ! I also do try out many different designs that I pick up here and there (exclusively for my own fun , not to commercialize) . Just a part of my lure designs are coming from my own brains ! To avoid such troubles like actually displayed in here for once more , I always try to mention the origin of my creations , and what I probably have altered on the original design . But still I like that idea about the rear hook hanger on the back ! greetz , diemai Quote Link to comment
mark twain 19 Posted February 11, 2009 Report Share diemai! that rear hook doesn't exist ) it is not there at all ) to be original is very hard nowadays! sometimes am excited when am creating something original, something new and nobody implemented it ... but after a while am discovering that somebosy else at opposite side of the earth did something similar Quote Link to comment
