Thx for enjoying the lure fellas. Re: time, it took much longer to locate decent anatomical pics of craws than it did to draw, carve and paint. Used a combo of micro knives, skew & bevel chisels, and foredom to carve it.

The latest version(s) has several improvements to the shape. Thx again.

Milia, that's a good question with a very simple answer: round head push pins/ needle,.... inexpensive, durable, and effective. Create a round socket using a rounded burr of the same diameter, clip the needle in 1/2 w/ wire cutters, paint the eye (if needed), push the pin into the socket at the correct angle= craw eye, piece of cake...good luck.

Finding a flexible, durable, & textured material to serve as antennae was a challenge however.
