First top water

Saw an example of this bait on this site some time ago. It looked interesting to me so I thought I would try to make my own. I need the ice off and it to warm up a little to see the actual action. 3.5 in waited so the back half hangs down slightly. The holes that I drilled for the gills was the most challenging. Hope it works!;)

Interesting and unusual design , a popper mouth with a prop:yes: !

I hope , that it won't turn on it's side with the curved downward tail , I have had my troubles with such before :mad:.

So , let's wait for ice out , good luck:yay: , diemai

Now I am going to have to try something like this! I think with a little weight on the tail end and a feathered treble it would work. I think I'll leave the prop off one and put about a 1 1/2" prop on one.

I like your choice of a finer mesh for the lateral line! Gives the surface appearance some depth.
