mark poulson 2,567 Posted February 27, 2009 Report Share Nicely done. I really like the shape. Deimai makes some like that, and he catches with them. I would have thought that shape would have had a wide wobble. What kind of wood did you use? How much ballast did you add and where? Quote Link to comment
adrignat 10 Posted February 27, 2009 Report Share the chartreuse one has a bit wider wobble compared to the other one, because i added ballast in the tail region aswell.the rest of the ballast is in the head the blueback has all the ballast in the head and only about a half a gram near the belly eye. they have a pretty obvious rolling action too. the wood is "linden tree"(i belive that's correct) Quote Link to comment
rofish 2 Posted February 28, 2009 Report Share Mark, I had the same translation problem before as my conational, so I can tell you that what he mentions as "linden tree" is in fact basswood. I thought the tree was called "lime tree". I even asked Vodkaman in a thread if the tree which is known under the latin name of "tilia" is called lime tree or basswood in England. He answered he had never heard about basswood before joining TU. The tree is called lime in England. adrignat, The shape of your lures is very nice indeed. I'll have to try it too.
