Man, they look great. Brilliant idea.

Are you attaching hooks or ballast, or are they just attractors?

They seem like the perfect variable sink lures, depending on how much water you add, once you've got your hook and ballast attached.

Mark - Yes sinking/floating and in between. Hang it on a horizontal fishing line, add some small split shot (best is a couple of 3mm shot gun pellets) through the front hole and sit them in epoxy (use ETex not D2T) where the bottom centre is (the balls will roll to centre), this is enough to keep them stable, if not there are a few other tricks. Just use a bead, split ring, and treble hook on the back, and a rubber 'line stopper' at the front so the line does not fall through. pete

I saw the dark "shadow" on one of the lures in the group, and figured you'd done some kind of ballast thing.

Why do you say to not use D2T?

I am going to guess that D2T goes thermal..............so it would melt the float material?

Is that the reason?
