Not clear to be seen on the pics , but it seems to me , that it has an indention below the line tie connected to sideward holes to generate a "jet" current of passing through water ?

Also I mean to see metal plates on the inner side of the toad's legs , are the eyescrews engaging into these ?

If so , these are for generating noise , when the blade hits them , aren't they ?
