diemai 234 Posted March 10, 2009 Report Share Such skirted(and feathered) jigs are extremely uncommon over here in Europe . But I have tried to make skirts before(for spinnerbaits and in-lines) , so I can tell , that these strands , that you used , truly appear to be very thin and fine and should get to pulsate on the slightest move . But why did you tie them with wire and thread , there are rubber skirt collars and a special tool available , that makes skirt rigging a breeze(Haven't used that tool , but needle nose pliers to open up the skirt collars to put the living rubber thru) ? greetz , diemai Quote Link to comment
figueira 10 Posted March 10, 2009 Report Share Hi Diemai, The reason I tied with wire is that this material contrary to the silicone skirts come atached together, you have to stretch the ends and them cut it with cutters to separate them. To puttem on a skirt collar you a=have to separate them by hand, I do belive Joe Quote Link to comment
