New design by my daughter

I asked my 11 year old daughter if she wanted to make a bait while I was workin in the shop. She drew the shap and I cut it out on the band saw. She sanded it and helped set the hardware. She painted the base colors while looking at a picture of a smallie. I helped her with the detail work ,but all-in-all it looks like a pretty good shad style bait.

When she's gonna be older , she'll beat you with luremaking , lol :lol:!

When my daughter was small , I let her paint some of my spoon blanks whilst going to work , at first they looked like rejects to me , but one of them caught three pike within 30 minutes back then , she was sooooo proud ;):).
