Wayupnorth36 10 Posted March 12, 2009 Report Share Are you gonna be able to fish with that? I'd have a hard time tying that on the line cuz it's so purrrrrty. Does that dorsal fin mute the action any? Quote Link to comment
pikeman 11 Posted March 12, 2009 Report Share awesome work, incredible details . It looks more like a zander , anyway I love it , 5 stars from me Quote Link to comment

fatfingers 90 Posted March 13, 2009 Report Share I've probably looked at 20 or 30 thousand baits in the last 10 years or so. This is, hands down, one of the top 2 or 3 I have ever seen. I cannot believe you're going to take that beautiful thing and hurl at a creature with the temperament of a muskellunge! Outstanding artistry from the nose to the tail and the back to the belly, Douglas. Quote Link to comment
fatfingers 90 Posted March 13, 2009 Report Share Please post the belly shot of this bait. It is just amazing. Quote Link to comment

bbduc 11 Posted March 17, 2009 Report Share Simply stunning. Nuff said. Okay I'll say a couple things. Aesthetically from the proportions to the colors and then the finish, it's beautiful. A well balanced piece of work. This may be a little weird but it looks healthy. Sometimes you catch a fish and it just doesn't look fresh/healthy, this thing looks fresh. The fact that I'm comparing it to a real fish is testament to your work. Is that a single hook off the back side? How does she swim? Curious if the dorsal fin causes problems. Quote Link to comment
Rowhunter 49 Posted March 18, 2009 Report Share Thanks guys, I really just have fun doing this kind of thing. To answer your question Bob ,yes that is a siwash hook on the rear, I prefer the way it swims with one. It does dive right away with the lip /line tie configuration used, dives to around 6 feet with a nice tight wobble. The dorsal fin actually acts as a roll damper on the Z axis.
